Events Marketing Coordinator

About This Role

As an Events Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and executing Esri trade shows and conferences by coordinating event logistics and managing vendor relationships. This role focuses on delivering exceptional event experiences for users through strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members across marketing and external stakeholders to support marketing events.
• Manage multiple priorities and deadlines, supporting the coordination and delivery of several events simultaneously.
• Coordinate event logistics, including vendor management, and seamlessly execute events from beginning to end.
• Mitigate errors by completing assignments thoroughly and accurately and ensure details align with the overall vision of the event.
• Adapt to unexpected circumstances and work with the team to quickly provide solutions.
• Anticipate tasks required to meet objectives and expect the needs of stakeholders.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and share new, imaginative ideas with the team.

Requirements

• 1+ year experience in events or hospitality
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and with a team
• Experience providing deliverables on time against deadlines
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and collaboration tools such as Workfront

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field
• 1+ year experience working in events or the hospitality industry

Nice to Have

• Previous use of events management software such as Exhibit Force and Rainfocus
• CMP, PMP, or other relevant certifications
