This role involves providing direct and compassionate dialysis care to patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient clinic setting, working under the supervision of a registered nurse. Responsibilities include monitoring patients, managing equipment, recording data, and educating patients on their treatment and kidney health.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
- Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
- Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
- Record vital signs and patient data
- Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
- Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members
Requirements
- CCHT certification
- Accredited High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
- Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
- Willing to float between local clinics if needed
- Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- Accredited High School diploma, general education development (“GED”) credential, or equivalent
