Epic Willow Inpatient Specialist

About This Role

The Epic Willow Inpatient Specialist will oversee the analysis, design, configuration, testing, and implementation of Epic software across relevant application areas. This role involves collaborating with operational and IT leadership to configure systems, document user feedback, and ensure system design meets organizational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overseeing the Epic software analysis, design, configuration, testing, and implementation across their relevant application area.
• Collaborates with Operational and IT leadership in identifying, evaluating and configuring systems to meet user and organizational requirements.
• Works directly with Operational leadership to help ensure end user feedback is documented and input into the system design and capabilities appropriately.
• Oversees the system design, including functional specifications and strategies, with their application areas, based upon the analysis of specific operational needs assessed by their team.
• Assist in low level design, operational discussions, build, test, and migrate Epic build, provide go-live support following migration of new build.
• Work with the implementation team to plan and complete build, implement end-to-end Epic.
• Work command center shifts to investigate during go-live; document and resolve break-fix tickets.
• Complete any assigned system maintenance.
• Lead meetings as needed, prioritize tasks, resolve conflicts and manage a project plan.
• Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams.

Requirements

• Current Epic Certification in Willow Inpatient
• 6+ years of experience with EPIC Willow Inpatient
• Experience in application design, workflows, build, troubleshooting, testing, and support.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in information technology, business, or healthcare related field; or equivalent experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in information technology, business, or healthcare related field; or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of experience with EPIC Willow Inpatient

• Additional Epic Certifications
• ITIL process knowledge
• Analytical/ Decision Making Responsibilities
• Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products
• Can operate independently or with minimum supervision

• Ability to deliver technical demonstrations
