Lead and deliver small engagements or components of larger, complex projects for healthcare clients, focusing on Epic implementations. This role involves improving financial performance, accelerating digital ventures, and driving growth through innovation.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver small engagements or components of large, complex engagements for healthcare clients
- Craft solutions for clients, guide and oversee the quality of team deliverables and recommendations
- Manage day-to-day stakeholder relationships
- Contribute to Deloitte's thought leadership and business development activities
- Own responsibility for the development of junior staff
- Perform Epic software analysis, design, configuration, testing, and implementation
- Provide application support and issue resolution for Epic systems
- Interact with Operational and IT personnel to identify, evaluate, and configure systems
- Develop system design, including functional specifications and strategies
- Provide input on system design and capabilities to Operations
Requirements
- 6+ years' experience in a consulting and/or healthcare organization
- 6+ years' experience with large scale healthcare system implementations (EHRs, clinical, revenue cycle systems)
- 6+ years in a client facing role
- 6+ years' experience with healthcare implementation lifecycle (system selection, implementation sequencing and planning, project management, application & technical design, interface & data conversion, application build, environment management, testing, go live planning)
- Epic certifications and/or experience implementing Epic applications
- Experience leading or supporting multiple Epic implementations
- Experience with EHR vendors such as Epic, Cerner and Allscripts
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to travel 50%
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 6+ years' experience in a consulting and/or healthcare organization, with large scale healthcare system implementations, in a client-facing role, and with various phases of the healthcare implementation lifecycle.
Nice to Have
- Advanced Degree such as MBA or MHA
- Experience conducting interviews with key stakeholders to understand and document the current business process
- Experience defining future state business process
- Experience planning, tracking and delivering projects using Microsoft Project
- Experience documenting processes in Microsoft Visio
- Experience managing and delivering via an Agile/Scrum methodology
- General understanding or familiarity with virtual health, cloud, interoperability, data analytics, and/or automation
