EPIC Inventory Pharmacy Tech

About This Role

The EPIC Inventory Pharmacy Tech ensures accurate management of pharmacy inventory within the EPIC system. This role involves daily clean-up, troubleshooting, cycle counting, receiving orders, and reviewing inventory reports to maintain optimal stock levels and correct discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Preform daily EPIC clean up and troubleshooting, correcting negative balances and incorrectly decrementing items
• Conduct cycle counts, checking for expiration dates and making necessary corrections based on inventory balance change reports
• Receive ABC orders in EPIC inventory, scanning items, verifying pricing, matching invoices, and putting away stock
• Receive FED EX and UPS direct shipment items in EPIC upon arrival, adding notes to invoices and POs for the 340B team and buyers
• Assist the buyer with reviewing backorders or substitutions and provide cross coverage for projects
• Perform monthly Omni cycle counts for state vaccines with the Vaccine Coordinator and receive new vaccine shipments in the IRIS system
• Assist with pulling and transferring Omni runs to other locations
• Identify medications with no utilization, adjust PARS, and process returns to Cencora
• Collaborate with the site buyer on creating returns and adding new P&T items to inventory

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 years' experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• Valid Pharmacy Technician Registration in state of practice
• Proficiency with EPIC inventory system
