As an experienced Epic Beaker professional at Deloitte, you will join the Project Delivery Model team, focusing on long-term client service delivery by working with the Epic support team to implement, configure, and maintain Epic software solutions, and resolve issues without extensive travel.
Responsibilities
- Work with the implementation team to plan and complete build, implement end-to-end Epic systems
- Conduct and document root cause analysis for break-fix tickets
- Perform Epic software analysis, design, configuration, testing, and implementation
- Provide application support and issue resolution for Epic systems
- Interact with Operational and IT personnel to identify, evaluate, and configure systems
- Maintain high credibility and ownership of system activities within assigned application
- Develop system design, including functional specifications and strategies
- Analyze operational requirements and system capabilities to propose effective solutions
- Perform unit, system, and integration testing per standards and document outcomes
- Provide on-call support, troubleshoot, and resolve production support issues during activation
Requirements
- Current Epic Beaker Certification
- 3+ years of recent experience with an Epic implementation
- 3 years of Epic build and support experience
- Experience in application build and go-live, including implementation, workflows, troubleshooting, testing, and support
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline, or equivalent experience
- Demonstrative understanding of technical documentation
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Self Motivated, highly-organized and detail oriented skills
- Superior communication and customer service abilities
- Team player with the willingness/ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Ability to operate independently or with minimum supervision
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of recent experience with an implementation and 3 years of Epic build and support
Nice to Have
- Strong desktop skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Work Experience/Direct Knowledge of clinical area or business area to be supported
