Environmental Services Worker

About This Role

This role is responsible for maintaining a safe and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and employees within Virtua Health facilities by performing various cleaning and waste management tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain Virtua facilities as directed, including general cleaning, trash removal, and room setup
• Maintain universal precautions to ensure patient and employee safety
• Safely handle and dispose of regulated medical waste and other trash
• Ensure proper chemical usage and maintain a safe environment, including chemical storage
• Assume linen responsibilities as required

Requirements

• Ability to speak English

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience preferred
