The Environmental Services Aide maintains a clean and sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors by practicing proper cleaning procedures and adhering to infection control standards.
Responsibilities
- Follow proper policies and procedures mandated by Marshall Health Systems and those of the department
- Clean occupied and discharged patient rooms
- Clean isolation, sterile and high-risk areas
- Clean hallways, lobbies, lounges, workrooms, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas
- Follow established procedures for distribution and disposal of trash and linen
- Maintain performance standards regarding infection control and safety
Qualifications
- High School or equivalent preferred
