Environmental Services Aide

About This Role

The Environmental Services Aide maintains a clean and sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors by practicing proper cleaning procedures and adhering to infection control standards.

Responsibilities

• Follow proper policies and procedures mandated by Marshall Health Systems and those of the department
• Clean occupied and discharged patient rooms
• Clean isolation, sterile and high-risk areas
• Clean hallways, lobbies, lounges, workrooms, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas
• Follow established procedures for distribution and disposal of trash and linen
• Maintain performance standards regarding infection control and safety

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent preferred
