About This Role

Join Shaw Industries as an Entry Level Manufacturing associate, contributing to the production of flooring and surface solutions. This role involves various tasks such as winding, operating burn-in machines, creeling, sewing, and air entangling.

Responsibilities

• Load packages of single or plied yarn on the carousel of the Back winder machine
• Responsible for burning-in yarn during a beam change
• Creel yarn in order to keep machines in operation
• Keep creel racks full of yarn and yarn ends spliced together in the designated pattern
• Sew rolls of carpet together at the front of the finishing line
• Load packaged filament yarn onto an Air Entanglement machine
