Manufacturing Supervisor

About This Role

Shaw Industries is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Supervisor to lead the 3rd Shift Tufting Team in Cartersville, GA, focusing on safety, quality, and team development in carpet tile production. This role involves partnering with plant leadership and HR, coaching associates, and strengthening teamwork. The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader with strong people skills, manufacturing knowledge, and a passion for developing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Plant Management, Human Resources, and all Team Members
• Facilitate team members in examining and improving work processes to achieve better results
• Manage group and one-to-one discussions, applying coaching and corrective action when necessary
• Communicate the goals and direction of the team
• Develop and maintain a firm working knowledge of carpet manufacturing processes, equipment, and procedures

Requirements

• 3+ years leadership experience

Qualifications

• 4 year degree or High School Diploma/GED
• 3+ years' leadership experience

Nice to Have

• Tufting/Manufacturing experience preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
