About This Role

This role involves helping individuals with diverse skills and abilities find meaningful employment by developing career goals, teaching job search skills, engaging with local businesses for opportunities, and providing on-site coaching.

Responsibilities

• Work with individuals to develop career goals and objectives
• Teach individuals how to create a customized resume, fill out effective job applications, write cover letters, and prepare for interviews
• Engage with local businesses to develop potential job opportunities
• Coach and guide individuals at their job sites

Requirements

• Comfortable traveling within your local community
• Comfortable using MS Office
• Comfortable documenting notes in an electronic system
• Comfortable accessing apps on a mobile device

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in high-touch customer service environments
• Management of a small team
• Informal leadership in sports, clubs, or civic organizations
