Electronics Technician 4

About This Role

Install, maintain, and lead teams in complex electronic security system projects, ensuring proper functionality and documentation for mission-critical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams on large complex installation projects with limited supervision
• Lead and document daily toolbox talks, ORMs, and Safety Audits
• Install and Maintain equipment at both the local and global level per design packages
• Program and Install head end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection and CCTV systems
• Troubleshoot and isolate both systems and/or hardware at both a local and global level
• Lead the on-site software commissioning and testing
• Lead inspections, evaluations, and inventory Performing Take off project drawings Create, Document and Track RFIs
• Document daily reports and project progress
• Integrate IDS, ACS and CCTV systems
• Guide and Mentor Technicians

Requirements

• 8+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs
• 3 years of experience focused in electronic security systems
• Strong Oral, Written and Presentation Skills
• Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams
• Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives
• Ability to travel up to 50%

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED
• 8+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs, with 3 years focused on electronic security systems

Nice to Have

• Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours)
• Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program
• Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program
• Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Skills
• Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems (CCURE, Lenel, Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, Bosch CCTV, Bosch BVMS, AIphone Intercom Systems Airphone, FFT, DIVAR)
• Windows operating systems & certifications and experience in installation of said systems
