Perform journeyman-level electrical work, including repairing, maintaining, and installing electrical systems and equipment for Memphis-Shelby County Schools.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective repair and maintenance of all electrical equipment.
- Inspect electrical installations by contractors for compliance with specifications and codes.
- Evaluate and estimate repair and minor installation costs for new and remodeled projects.
- Plan layout and install and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment.
- Respond to electrical emergency situations when requested.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 4+ years of commercial electrical installation and/or maintenance experience
- Memphis and Shelby County Journeyman Electrical License
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Four (4) years' experience in commercial electrical installation and/or maintenance.
