Electrician Helper

About This Role

Assist licensed electricians with various tasks, handle materials and tools, and maintain a clean work area. This role offers an opportunity to learn electrical installations and contribute to commercial, industrial, healthcare, and other electrical projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist electricians under direct supervision with installing electrical work
• Handle bulk materials and tools
• Keep materials, tools, equipment, and work area clean and orderly
• Demonstrate safe work habits and proper care of tools and equipment
• Learn and assist with basic blueprint knowledge and layout from field sketches
• Learn and assist with panel, transformer, and motor terminations
• Learn and assist with underground, overhead, and in-wall conduit and cable installation
• Learn and assist with wire terminations in J-Box and conduit/box installation in CMU block
• Pull wire feeder/branch/low-voltage
• Operate equipment (training provided) and assist with fluid checks and greasing equipment/vehicles

Qualifications

• High School Graduate/GED preferred
• None required

Nice to Have

• OSHA 10 Hour trained
• CPR trained
• First Aid trained
• Able to maintain professional appearance and conduct
• Able to maintain high levels of productivity, meeting deadlines while maintaining accuracy
• Effective and professional communication skills
