The Echocardiographer produces echocardiograms according to laboratory protocols for standard and special conditions, including valvular heart disease, 3D echocardiography, strain imaging, TEE, and Stress Echo. The role involves utilizing advanced technology to provide personalized care to patients in Litchfield County and Northwest Connecticut.
Responsibilities
- Produce echocardiograms that satisfy laboratory protocols for standard transthoracic imaging
- Perform echocardiograms for special conditions including valvular heart disease
- Utilize 3D echocardiography and strain imaging techniques
- Perform Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
- Conduct Stress Echocardiograms
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited ultrasound school
- RCS by CCI or RCDS by ARDMS certification
- Valid CPR Certification
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited ultrasound school
Nice to Have
- Experience with two-dimensional, m-mode, Doppler
