Dispatch Routing Operator

About This Role

This role supports daily transportation operations by monitoring vehicle locations, coordinating routes, and communicating updates. The Dispatch Routing Operator ensures that shuttles and trips run on time while maintaining constant communication with drivers and internal staff.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vehicle locations and route timing using dispatch/GPS software
• Confirm driver attendance and send reminders for upcoming assignments
• Coordinate schedules, route changes, and service adjustments
• Communicate updates clearly to drivers and internal teams
• Support incident response, delays, and breakdown coordination
• Prepare daily schedules and dispatch logs

Requirements

• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Detail-oriented, organized, and calm under pressure

Nice to Have

• Experience with dispatch or vehicle tracking software
• Valid driving credentials
