This is a part-time Dishwasher/Cook position responsible for preparing and serving hot and cold menu items in a senior living community, ensuring proper food handling and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare hot and cold menu items by working on the grill, sauté station, salad-bar and on the service line
- Ensure the proper preparation, portioning and serving of foods as indicated on the menu cycle and the standardized recipes
- Taste and prepare food to determine quality and palatability
Requirements
- Experience with production methods, portion control and food handling safety
- Great organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail and presentation of food product
- Ability to work weekends
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in Senior Living
