Dishwasher

About This Role

This role involves performing various kitchen cleaning and storage activities, primarily focused on dishwashing and general sanitation, along with janitorial duties in dining service areas. The Dishwasher ensures all tasks comply with sanitary procedures and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform dishwashing and pot washing duties
• Conduct general and equipment cleaning in the kitchen
• Handle storage and rotation of food and supplies
• Execute janitorial duties in dining room, bistro, and other related areas
• Maintain all activities in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulatory procedures for food storage, cleaning, and preparation

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Ability to bend, climb or work in confined spaces
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
• Organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Qualifications
