About This Role

Execute various kitchen cleaning and storage activities, primarily focusing on dishwashing and pot washing, while also performing janitorial duties in dining service areas. Ensure all food handling, storage, and cleaning adhere to sanitary procedures and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform various kitchen cleaning and storage activities including dish washing and pot washing
• Conduct general and equipment cleaning
• Manage storage and rotation of food and supplies
• Execute janitorial duties in dining service areas such as the Dining Room and Bistro
• Handle all foods, storage, and cleaning activities in accordance with sanitary procedures
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulatory procedures regarding food storage, cleaning, and preparation

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Ability to bend, climb or work in confined spaces
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
• Organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Qualifications
