Dishwasher

About This Role

This role is responsible for maintaining kitchen cleanliness, including dishwashing, pot washing, and equipment cleaning, as well as handling food storage and janitorial duties in dining areas. The Dishwasher ensures all activities comply with sanitary procedures and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform dish washing, pot washing, general and equipment cleaning
• Handle storage and rotation of food and supplies
• Execute janitorial duties in dining areas such as the Dining Room and Bistro
• Handle all foods, storage, and cleaning activities according to sanitary procedures and standards
• Comply with all federal, state, and local regulatory procedures regarding food storage, cleaning, and preparation

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Ability to bend, climb or work in confined spaces
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
• Organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Qualifications
