Dishwasher

About This Role

This role involves performing various kitchen cleaning and storage activities, primarily dish and pot washing, along with general and equipment cleaning. The Dishwasher is also responsible for janitorial duties in dining services areas and ensuring all activities comply with sanitary standards and regulatory procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform dish washing and pot washing duties
• Carry out general and equipment cleaning tasks
• Organize storage and rotation of food and supplies
• Execute janitorial duties in dining areas like the Dining Room and Bistro
• Handle all foods, storage, and cleaning activities in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulatory procedures regarding food storage, cleaning, and preparation

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift 25 lbs., and bend, climb or work in confined spaces
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
• Organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
