Dishwasher

About This Role

The Dishwasher is responsible for performing various kitchen cleaning and storage activities, primarily focusing on dish and pot washing, general equipment cleaning, and proper storage and rotation of food supplies. This role also handles janitorial duties in dining service areas while adhering to sanitary procedures and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform dish washing, pot washing, general and equipment cleaning
• Handle storage and rotation of food and supplies
• Execute janitorial duties in dining services areas such as Dining Room, Bistro, and associated dining activities
• Ensure all food handling, storage, and cleaning activities comply with sanitary procedures and standards
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulatory procedures regarding food storage, cleaning, and preparation

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift 25 lbs., and bend, climb or work in confined spaces
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
• Organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
