Dishwasher

About This Role

The Dishwasher is responsible for various kitchen cleaning and storage activities, including dishwashing, pot washing, and equipment cleaning. This role also involves janitorial duties in dining areas and ensuring compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform dish washing and pot washing duties.
• Clean general kitchen areas and equipment.
• Handle storage and rotation of food and supplies.
• Execute janitorial duties in dining services areas such as the Dining Room and Bistro.
• Ensure all food handling, storage, and cleaning activities comply with sanitary procedures and standards.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulatory procedures regarding food storage, cleaning, and preparation.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift 25 lbs., and bend, climb or work in confined spaces
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
• Organizational and time management skills
• Good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Qualifications
