Dishwasher

About This Role

The Dishwasher is responsible for all kitchen cleaning, dishwashing, pot washing, and storage activities. This role also includes janitorial duties in various dining areas and adherence to all sanitary procedures and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform dish washing and pot washing duties
• Execute general and equipment cleaning tasks
• Manage storage and rotation of food and supplies
• Complete janitorial duties in dining room, bistro, and associated areas
• Handle all foods, storage, and cleaning activities in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulatory procedures regarding food storage, cleaning, and preparation

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining or casual dining restaurant
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift 25 lbs., and bend, climb or work in confined spaces
• Possess written and verbal communication skills
• Organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
