This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen areas, including dishwashing, pot washing, and equipment cleaning, as well as managing food and supply storage.
Responsibilities
- Perform dish washing, pot washing, general, and equipment cleaning
- Manage storage and rotation of food and supplies
- Carry out janitorial duties in dining services areas including Dining Room and Bistro
- Handle all foods, storage, and cleaning activities in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards
- Comply with all federal, state, and local regulatory procedures regarding food storage, cleaning, and preparation
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
- Ability to bend, climb or work in confined spaces
- Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
- Organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
