Dishwasher

About This Role

The Dishwasher is responsible for all kitchen cleaning and storage activities, and general janitorial duties in various dining areas. This role ensures compliance with all sanitary procedures and regulatory standards for food handling, storage, cleaning, and preparation.

Responsibilities

• Perform dish washing and pot washing duties
• Execute general and equipment cleaning tasks
• Manage storage and rotation of food and supplies
• Complete janitorial duties in the Dining Room, Bistro, and other associated dining areas
• Handle all foods, storage, and cleaning activities in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards
• Comply with all federal, state, and local regulatory procedures regarding food storage, cleaning, and preparation

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Ability to bend, climb or work in confined spaces
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
• Organizational and time management skills
• Good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Qualifications
