Dishwasher

About This Role

The Dishwasher is responsible for performing various kitchen cleaning and storage activities, including dishwashing, pot washing, and general equipment cleaning. This role also involves managing the storage and rotation of food and supplies while maintaining sanitary procedures and standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform dishwashing and pot washing duties.
• Clean general kitchen equipment and associated dining areas.
• Store and rotate food and supplies.
• Execute janitorial duties in the Dining Room, Bistro, and other dining services areas.
• Ensure all food handling, storage, and cleaning activities comply with sanitary procedures and standards.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulatory procedures regarding food storage, cleaning, and preparation.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Ability to bend, climb or work in confined spaces
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Organizational and time management skills
• Good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
