Dishwasher

About This Role

Perform various kitchen cleaning and storage activities, including dishwashing, pot washing, and general equipment cleaning, while also managing the storage and rotation of food supplies. Maintain cleanliness in dining services areas in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform dish washing and pot washing duties
• Conduct general and equipment cleaning activities
• Manage storage and rotation of food and supplies
• Perform janitorial duties in dining room, bistro, and other associated dining areas
• Handle all foods, storage, and cleaning activities according to sanitary procedures and standards
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulatory procedures for food storage, cleaning, and preparation

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year experience in fine dining or casual dining restaurant
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Ability to bend, climb or work in confined spaces
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
• Organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
