This role will lead and direct enterprise initiatives to drive strategic, operational, and technology-enabled transformation, particularly with AI, across the organization. The Director will partner with senior leadership to evaluate opportunities, assess viability, and implement scalable solutions to advance strategy and improve performance.
Responsibilities
- Partner with executive leaders to identify, evaluate and scope strategic transformational opportunities that align with enterprise objectives
- Oversee the project intake, discovery and implementation process for transformation initiatives
- Evaluate existing business processes, technology and organizational design to identify opportunities for improved operational efficiency
- Lead assessment and viability analysis of new initiatives to determine business readiness, impact and value
- Monitor project performance, identify risks, and escalate issues to leadership with recommended mitigation strategies
- Translate strategic objectives into actionable transformation roadmaps with measurable success metrics
- Apply structured change management and communication approaches to enable successful adoption of new ways of working
- Serve as a change champion, fostering engagement, trust, and alignment throughout the organization
- Ensure consistent application of project management standards, tools, and governance practices
- Build strong relationships across departments, promoting collaboration and shared accountability for enterprise outcomes
Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive experience in transformation, strategy, enterprise project or change management within a managed care or healthcare organization
- 3 years management/leadership experience
- Proven success operating in a matrixed environment, influencing cross-functional teams through large-scale change and implementation efforts
- Deep understanding of managed care operations, provider networks, and healthcare delivery systems
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and influencing skills at all organizational levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a hands-on, execution-oriented mindset
Qualifications
- At least 8 years of progressive experience in transformation, strategy, enterprise project or change management within a managed care or healthcare organization, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience, including 3 years of management/leadership experience.
Nice to Have
- Proficiency in project and change management methodologies (PMP, Prosci, Lean Six Sigma, Agile preferred)
