Director, Program Management

About This Role

The Program Director will lead a team responsible for the overall cost, schedule, and technical performance of a portfolio of development, production, and repair/retrofit programs for the NextGen Tactical Data Links (Link 16) business area. This role involves growing and managing the execution of this business area. The director will drive program execution to achieve key business and financial objectives, serving as the primary contact for both L3Harris and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team responsible for the P&L execution of the NGEN TDL annual operating plan through a portfolio of programs and projects
• Develop the strategic vision and roadmap for the NGEN TDL business area
• Drive program execution to achieve key business and financial objectives
• Manage a high-performance team including talent acquisition, team development, and performance management
• Serve as the primary contact for the NGEN TDL business area for L3Harris and customers including the Government, Prime Contractors, and International customers
• Maintain full P&L accountability for financial performance and forecasting
• Lead development and implementation of risk and change management programs
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and company policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 15 years prior experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 13 years with a Graduate Degree, or a minimum of 19 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.

• Knowledge of Link 16 Tactical Datalinks and products
• Demonstrated success in growing and capturing new business opportunities
• Experience managing cross-functional product-based programs for the Government, DoD Primes, and International Customers
• Experience with FAR Part 12 & 15 Contract Execution
• Experience managing programs using EVMS principles
• Experience with multiple phases of the program capture & execution lifecycle (Bid & Proposal, Development, Production, Sustainment)
• Ability to lead and develop relationships with geographically dispersed teams
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
