About This Role

This role is responsible for providing leadership and oversight for the city's public services, including utilities, public works, and building inspections. The Director coordinates planning, regulatory compliance, and serves as a liaison to elected officials and public agencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for city public services, including utilities (electric, water, and wastewater), public works, and building inspections
• Supervise departmental staff and operations
• Assist with budget development and monitoring
• Coordinate long- and short-range planning
• Coordinate rate studies and regulatory compliance
• Serve as a liaison to elected officials, public agencies, and professional organizations
• Respond to citizen concerns
