Lead and support the nursing team to provide exceptional patient care, ensuring compliance with regulations and contributing to strategic planning in a long-term care setting.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the nursing team to provide exceptional patient care
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with facility leadership in strategic planning and care initiatives
- Develop and oversee quality assurance and risk management programs
- Mentor and train nursing staff to maintain high performance standards
- Conduct daily rounds to monitor patient care and employee performance
- Support a culture of dignity, compassion, and professional excellence
- Assist in onboarding new staff and implementing policy updates
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and protocols
- Team-oriented leader with excellent communication and motivational skills
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- Previous experience in nursing leadership in a long-term care setting preferred
