Director of Marketing and Business Development

About This Role

This role involves planning and executing comprehensive marketing campaigns, public relations efforts, and sales strategies to ensure full occupancy of the rehabilitation facility. The Director will manage the Marketing and Business Development Department staff, coordinate advertisements, and develop new programs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute all marketing efforts including public relations, marketing, and sales to ensure full occupancy of the facility.
• Manage and direct the staff (Team of 10) in the Marketing and Business Development Department to achieve budgeted volume goals.
• Provide administration with summaries and recommendations from market research evaluations.
• Coordinate the production and placement of advertisements.
• Work in conjunction with clinical leadership to develop and promote new programs and services.
• Manage and strategically direct all functions of the Marketing and Admissions department.
• Develop individual clinical liaison goals and monitor results for sales calls, referrals, admissions, and outpatients visits.
• Develop and conduct ongoing marketing/sales training for marketing teams.

Requirements

• Licensed as Therapist or Nurse
• 3-5 years current experience in healthcare required, preferably in a hospital setting or sales
• Strong background in client services and relationship management preferred
• Supervisory/leadership experience required
• Current, valid, and active driver's license, auto insurance, and clean driving record required
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation
• Experience working in the medical environment promoting programs and services
• Ability to build strong relationships in an assigned territory utilizing clinical and selling skills
• Strong clinical skills with a mindset for business development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare field, marketing, or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years current experience in healthcare, preferably in a hospital setting or sales, with supervisory/leadership experience.
