Lead and manage the safety and security operations for Verizon's senior leadership and Board of Directors. Develop and implement a comprehensive protection program addressing physical and digital risks globally, integrating seamlessly into business operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 24/7 global executive protection strategy integrating physical security, secure logistics, and technical surveillance countermeasures (TSCM)
- Collaborate with the Global Fusion & Intel Center (GFIC) to mitigate "Executive Identity" risks by reducing the C-Suite's digital footprint
- Oversee all aspects of protective details, including residential security, office safety, and high-threat international travel
- Synthesize real-time intelligence to conduct continuous risk assessments for principals, identifying emerging threats
- Act as the primary security lead during high-stakes events, board of directors meetings, special events, and crisis situations, coordinating with law enforcement
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in protective services (Military Special Operations, Federal Law Enforcement, or Corporate Security)
- 5+ years specifically in a Corporate Executive Protection role at a global scale
- 7+ years in a senior management position, managing multi-million dollar budgets and global vendor networks
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government-issued permit to carry a concealed weapon (CCW)
- SIS CPP (Certified Protection Professional) certification
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
- 10+ years of relevant experience in protective services (Military Special Operations, Federal Law Enforcement, or Corporate Security), with at least 5 years specifically in a Corporate Executive Protection role at a global scale and 7+ years in a senior management position.
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree or MBA
- Expert-level proficiency in OSINT (Open Source Intelligence) tools
- Experience with Counter-UAS (Drone) mitigation strategies
- CISSP certification
- CISM certification
