About This Role

Serve as Director II of Special Education for the Poway Unified School District, overseeing services and working with students, parents, staff, and the community to manage special education programs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of successful teaching or related experience in special education
  • 2+ years of experience as a site administrator, special education program specialist, coordinator or director
  • Extensive experience in managing special education services
  • Experience working effectively with students, parents, staff and community
  • Master’s degree in special education or related field
  • Special education teaching or related services credential
  • California Administrative Services Credential

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in special education or related field
  • A minimum five (5) years of successful teaching or related experience in special education and two (2) years of experience as a site administrator, special education program specialist, coordinator or director. Extensive experience in managing special education services, and in working effectively with students, parents, staff and community.

Certifications

Special education teaching or related services credential (Required) California Administrative Services Credential (Required)
