About This Role

Lead and manage special education services within the Poway Unified School District, leveraging extensive experience in both teaching and administration to work effectively with students, parents, staff, and the community.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of successful teaching or related experience in special education
  • 2+ years of experience as a site administrator, special education program specialist, coordinator or director
  • Extensive experience in managing special education services
  • Experience in working effectively with students, parents, staff and community
  • Master’s degree in special education or related field
  • Special education teaching or related services credential
  • California Administrative Services Credential
  • Current Resume
  • Letter of Intent
  • Copy of California Administrative Credential
  • Three (3) Letters of Recommendation signed within the last 12 months

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in special education or related field
  • Minimum five (5) years of successful teaching or related experience in special education and two (2) years of experience as a site administrator, special education program specialist, coordinator or director. Extensive experience in managing special education services, and in working effectively with students, parents, staff and community.

Nice to Have

  • At least one (1) letter of recommendation from an immediate supervising administrator

Certifications

Special education teaching or related services credential (Required) California Administrative Services Credential (Required)
