Director - Digital Engineering

About This Role

This role involves overseeing the strategic direction, operations, and performance of industry segments within Capgemini Invent, focusing on growth, profitability, and innovation. The Director will drive large-scale transformation programs, particularly in product engineering, and leverage AI/GenAI for operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee strategic direction, operations, and performance of A&D, Automotive, Manufacturing and O&G industry segments
• Drive growth, profitability, and innovation within assigned segments
• Set up large transformation programs within Product Engineering
• Lead and deliver large Engineering S/W programs
• Create and industrialize target operating model and execution model
• Set up VRO, PMO and drive governance
• Develop and drive the Engineering transformation roadmap with clients
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including preparing proposals and presentations
• Manage the execution of programs and projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery
• Assess and manage risks associated with projects and operations, implementing mitigation strategies
• Build strong relationships with key customers and ensure satisfaction

Requirements

• Experience in setting up large transformation programs within Product Engineering
• Experience in leading and delivering large Engineering S/W programs
• Experience in setting up VRO, PMO and driving governance
• Strong understanding of the value driven by PLM and Manufacturing solutions
• Experience in selling and managing multiple capabilities/cross-offers
• Experience in AI approaches and engineering enablement using AI solutions
• Experience in leveraging AI/GenAI and data to enhance decision-making, automate processes, and drive operational efficiency
