About This Role

As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide critical community-based support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, focusing on personal growth, daily living skills, and community integration.

Responsibilities

Help individuals grow, learn, and live well
Develop meaningful relationships with the individuals served
Take initiative to help participants integrate into the community and enjoy activities
Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
Assist people with personal hygiene
Support individuals who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver's license
Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent
Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred

Nice to Have

Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination
