About This Role

As a Direct Support Professional at Sevita, you will provide assistance and strategies to individuals with developmental goals and behavioral challenges, helping them live well in their community. You will build meaningful relationships and make a difference in the lives of participants.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance and strategies to individuals to help them live well in their community and environment
• Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve
• Take initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities
• Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
• Assist people with their personal hygiene
• Support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's license
• Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
