As a Registered Dietitian at DaVita Kidney Care, you will be a vital member of each patient's core care team, analyzing lab results and educating patients and their families on dietary needs. Your ability to influence and lead will be crucial in helping patients live better lives while building meaningful, long-term relationships.
Responsibilities
- Analyze lab-work results and educate patients and their families on appropriate dietary choices
- Influence and lead patients to help them live better lives
- Build meaningful and long-term relationships with patients and their families in an intimate outpatient setting
- Commit to improving patient health through clinical goal-setting and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- State licensure (if applicable)
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or similar area
- Ability to work flexible schedules, possibly for multiple facilities and travel when needed
- Successful completion of the Competency Assessment for Renal Dietitians (CARD) with a score of at least 80% (after hire and training)
- Intermediate computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Functional proficiency with DaVita specific applications within 60 days
Qualifications
