DevOps Engineer

About This Role

As a DevOps Engineer, you will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud migrations to Azure, and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes. This role involves integrating security best practices and implementing monitoring and logging solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, customize, and maintain automated Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab pipelines
• Migrate Spring Boot microservices from on-premises Rancher to Azure Cloud, including secret management, deployment solutions, artifact repository solutions, networking services, security services, certificate management, and storage volume configuration
• Manage containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes, including implementing service mesh with the Istio framework
• Collaborate with development, database, and infrastructure teams to ensure on-time production releases, including pre- and post-production activities
• Work closely with developers, QA, and IT teams to resolve issues and improve workflows
• Integrate security best practices and ensure compliance by controlling container and application vulnerabilities using tools such as SonarQube, Fortify, Black Duck, and Prisma Cloud
• Develop automation scripts using Python and Bash, and manage configuration management tools like Ansible
• Provision, configure, and manage scalable Azure infrastructure using Terraform and ARM templates
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure system health and performance using tools such as Datadog, Splunk, and Kibana

Requirements

• Experience with CI/CD pipeline design, build, customization, and maintenance using Jenkins and GitLab pipelines
• Experience migrating Spring Boot microservices from on-premises Rancher platform to Azure Cloud
• Experience with Azure Key Vault, HashiCorp Vault for secret management
• Experience with Helm for deployment solutions
• Experience with Artifactory, Azure Container Registry for artifact repository solutions
• Experience with Azure Networking Services (NSG) and Security Services (RBAC)
• Experience with certificate management for ingress and egress
• Experience with storage volume configuration
• Experience in managing containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
• Experience implementing service mesh with Istio framework
• Experience with DevSecOps tools like SonarQube, Fortify, Black Duck, Prisma Cloud
• Proficiency in scripting with Python and Bash
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible
• Experience provisioning, configuring, and managing Azure infrastructure using Terraform and ARM templates
• Experience implementing monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions using Datadog, Splunk, and Kibana
• Basic understanding of object-oriented programming in Java/Groovy
