DevOps Engineer

About This Role

Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure for a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Automate, containerize, and deploy applications while ensuring high availability and compliance with security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools
• Manage and support containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Deploy and manage applications in AWS/Azure/GCP cloud environments
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability
• Implement security best practices in DevOps processes (DevSecOps)
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis
• Collaborate with software development, security, and operations teams
• Maintain configuration management using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
• Support version control systems such as Git

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related role
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)
• Strong experience with Docker & Kubernetes
• Strong experience with Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
• Strong experience with Linux/Unix systems
• Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or similar
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related role

Nice to Have

• Experience in secure environments (DoD/IC preferred)
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk)
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices
• Relevant certifications (AWS Certified, Kubernetes CKA, etc.)
