CC&B EDI Test Lead

About This Role

Manage end-to-end testing activities for applications, ensuring high-quality deliverables, compliance with industry standards, and smooth execution of test cycles, focusing on Oracle CC&B and EDI projects for utility operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases for applications
• Ensure comprehensive functional, integration, regression, performance, and UAT testing
• Validate APIs, services, and map layers through manual and automated test cases
• Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure consistent application performance
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and teams to align testing activities with project requirements
• Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA, HP ALM, or similar tools
• Perform root cause analysis and defect triaging, ensuring timely resolution
• Ensure compliance with QA best practices, testing standards, and utility industry regulations
• Provide test progress reports and key metrics to stakeholders
• Lead and mentor a testing team, ensuring effective collaboration and knowledge sharing
• Coordinate with internal teams, third-party vendors, and offshore units to execute test cycles smoothly
• Engage in client discussions, requirement analysis, and testing sign-offs to ensure business expectations are met

Requirements

• Experience with Oracle Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) and testing for CC&B projects
• Experience with EDI
• Utility Operations domain expertise
• Test planning and execution experience
• Defect management experience
• Stakeholder coordination experience

Qualifications

• BACHELOR OF COMPUTER SCIENCE

Nice to Have

• Exposure to test automation, including Tosca
