About This Role

Support a high-performing real estate development platform by coordinating design, entitlement, and permitting efforts for retail, mixed-use, and commercial projects across major Texas markets. This role involves reviewing various design documents and assisting with project execution to maintain quality, schedule, and budget.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate design, entitlement, and permitting efforts with architects, engineers, landscape designers, and internal stakeholders
  • Support the design and execution of large-scale grocery-anchored and mixed-use developments
  • Review site plans, architectural drawings, landscape packages, and tenant improvement documents
  • Assist with lease exhibits, surveys, and legal descriptions
  • Work closely with construction teams on bidding, contracting, and project execution to maintain quality, schedule, and budget
  • Track project milestones using Procore or similar project management software
  • Prepare project reports and support meeting coordination, documentation, and follow-up

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in commercial development, retail development, architecture, civil design, or construction coordination
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Urban Planning, Engineering, Construction Management, Real Estate, or similar
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam, CAD, Procore, Excel, and related platforms
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Urban Planning, Engineering, Construction Management, Real Estate, or similar
  • 2-5 years of experience in commercial development, retail development, architecture, civil design, or construction coordination.
