About This Role

As a Dental Hygienist, you will provide exceptional lifetime patient care and advocate for patients within a dental practice supported by Heartland Dental, while enhancing your clinical skills through unparalleled education and mentorship.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional lifetime patient care
  • Advocate for patients as an elite clinical provider
  • Deliver outstanding patient care with best-in-class support
  • Utilize unparalleled educational offerings to enhance clinical skills
  • Deliver exceptional patient care using high-quality supplies and labs
  • Collaborate with a 10-person team to maintain patient dental health

Requirements

  • Current dental hygienist license in KS
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification
  • Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Prolonged periods sitting and standing
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
  • Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
  • Completion of tuberculosis (TB) test prior to starting employment

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
  • Entry level, new graduates welcome

Nice to Have

  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
