Dental Assistant Trainee

This role is for a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant Trainee to join a team committed to delivering exceptional patient care. The trainee will learn to execute clinically excellent dental care while contributing to a positive, team-oriented culture.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a culture that delivers an exceptional patient experience for every patient, every time
• Learn and execute how to deliver clinically excellent dental care through education quality and treatment
• Assist dentists and hygienists in quality diagnosis through X-rays, verbal communication, and other dental tests
• Learn and execute ways to help ensure efficient, smooth operations by seeking patient referrals, maintaining equipment, using supplies cost-effectively, and posting patient charges accurately
• Learn and follow CDC and OSHA guidelines for safety and infection control
• Learn and execute how to complete all clinical notes according to practice guidelines before dismissing patients
• Learn and execute the preparation of treatment rooms for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols
• Provide instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to the treatment area; positioning instruments for the dentist's access; suctioning; and passing instruments
• Learn and execute professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
• Promote a "team first" attitude by demonstrating positive and caring relationships and communication with coworkers
