Responsibilities
- Contribute to a culture that delivers an exceptional patient experience
- Learn and execute clinically excellent dental care through education, quality, and treatment
- Assist dentists and hygienists in quality diagnosis through X-rays, verbal communication, and other dental tests
- Learn and execute ways to ensure efficient, smooth operations by managing patient referrals, maintaining equipment, using supplies cost-effectively, and posting patient charges accurately
- Learn and follow CDC and OSHA guidelines for safety and infection control
- Learn and execute completion of clinical notes according to practice guidelines before dismissing patients
- Learn and execute the preparation of treatment rooms for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols
- Provide instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to the treatment area, positioning instruments, suctioning, and passing instruments
- Learn and execute professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
- Promote a "team first" attitude by demonstrating positive and caring relationships and communication with coworkers
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ready to be part of a patient-focused team
