Provide exceptional dental care by assisting dentists and hygienists, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining a patient-focused environment. This role contributes to a positive team culture and utilizes modern dental technology.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to a culture that delivers an exceptional patient experience.
- Assist dentists and hygienists in diagnosis through X-rays, verbal communication, and other dental tests.
- Help ensure efficient operations by seeking patient referrals, maintaining equipment, and using supplies cost-effectively.
- Follow CDC and OSHA guidelines for safety and infection control.
- Complete all clinical notes according to practice guidelines before dismissing patients.
- Prepare treatment rooms for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols, including sterilizing and positioning instruments.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and participating in professional societies.
- Promote a "team first" attitude through positive relationships and communication with coworkers.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain radiology certification within the required timeframe
- Patient-focused and team-oriented approach
