Delivery Driver – Non-CDL

About This Role

Drive a box truck or other vehicles to make daily deliveries of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants to customers, ensuring safe and punctual service while adhering to company policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive a box truck (under 26,001 pounds) or other vehicles for 10-20 deliveries per day
• Complete and maintain accurate records and logs, including driver's logs and fuel purchase logs
• Make on-time deliveries to customer locations safely and punctually in all weather conditions
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle
• Lift up to 50 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 80 pounds, using team lifts or mechanical equipment for commercial tires
• Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires
• Assist in the loading/unloading of trucks and occasionally operate equipment (forklift, pallet jacks, order pickers) when needed
• Operate a handheld device to ensure all deliveries are fulfilled
• Communicate effectively and efficiently with customers, coworkers, and management
• Collect payments from customers upon delivery of product

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older
• 1 year of professional driving experience (cube van, box truck or semi)
• Ability to be trained and safely use powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and high reach lifts
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally 80 pounds
• Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds
• Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures
• Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (not testing for THC / marijuana)
• Valid DOT Medical Card

Qualifications

• 1 year of professional driving experience (cube van, box truck or semi)
