Data Engineer

About This Role

Design, develop, and maintain data systems and pipelines to ensure efficient processing, storage, and analysis of medium to large datasets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data accessibility and usability within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
• Integrate data from various sources, including Salesforce Non Profit Cloud, external APIs, and raw flat files
• Develop and maintain data models and data warehouses using Snowflake or similar platforms
• Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting
• Create dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or similar BI tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across systems
• Document data processes and provide training to end-users
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles
• Proficiency in Snowflake, Python, SQL, and Tableau
• Experience with Salesforce Non Profit Cloud or similar CRM platforms
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles
